• Carolina trailed at the half for the first time this year.
• This was the first time a player on each team scored 30 or more points since Carolina's last game in Las Vegas, against Kentucky on 12/16/2017. Justin Jackson had 34 for the Tar Heels and Malik Monk scored 47 for UK. The game was played in T Mobile Arena. Tonight, Coby White had 33 for UNC and Kerwin Roach II had 32 for the Longhorns.
• White scored 20 of Carolina's 42 points in the first half. It was the first time a Tar Heel has scored 20 in a half since Joel Berry II had 25 in the second half vs. Miami on 2/27/2018.
• Carolina is now 3-1 when playing on Thanskgiving.
• The Tar Heels are 3-2 in Las Vegas Invitational games played in Orleans Arena.

• Coby White led all scorers with 33 points, the most by a Tar Heel this season, and the most by a UNC freshman since Harrison Barnes scored 40 against Clemson on 3/12/2011 in the ACC Tournament. It is the third most points by any UNC freshman.
• White's 33 are the most by a Tar Heel since Luke Maye had 33 at NC State on 2/10/2018. White's previous scoring high in a game was 16 in the previous contest vs. Saint Francis.
• White made seven three-pointers, which ties the seventh most in a game by a Tar Heel (10th time a Tar Heel has made seven in a game). White's seven three-pointers are the second most by a UNC freshman (Raymond Felton made eight, which equals the school record, against NC State on 1/26/2003).
