Carolina Notes
• The Tar Heels are now 9-3 overall, 6-0 in the Smith Center this season.
• Carolina held the Wildcats to 29.9 percent shooting from the floor, lowest by an opponent this season.
• Davidson's 38 three-point attempts were the most by an opponent this year.
• Carolina had a season-high 40 defensive rebounds.
• Carolina ended the first half on a 20-4 run over the final 9:02. Davidson led 24-19 after free throws with 9:03 to play. Neither team scored again until Garrison Brooks' three-point play with 6:40 to play.
• The Tar Heels scored 19 points in the first 13:30 and 20 points in the final 6:40 of the first half.
• Carolina also out-scored the Wildcats 14-4 to start the second half to up the run to 34-8 over a span of 14:10.
• Carolina held the Wildcats to 11 points over an 18:03 stretch midway through the game.
• Carolina came into the game averaging 14.1 more rebounds than Davidson in the last eight meetings (all under head coach Roy Williams) and out-rebounded the Wildcats by 16 today (49-33).

Tar Heel Player Notes
• Luke Maye had his fourth double-double of the season and 22nd of his career with 11 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.
• Maye had 10 rebounds in the opening half.
• Cameron Johnson did not score until the 6:14 mark of the first half but finished with a game-high 17 points. It is the fourth consecutive game Johnson has led UNC in scoring and the seventh time he has done that in UNC's first 12 games.
• Johnson was 2 for 4 from three-point range (is 10 for 16 in the last three games).
• Coby White had a season-high seven rebounds and had seven assists, his second-highest single-game assist total (had eight against UCLA). White had seven assists in the first 21 minutes; he had seven assists before he scored a single point.
• Kenny Williams had 12 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals. It was the seventh time this season he scored in double figures and the seventh time he had at least five assists. He had five or more assists seven times in his first three seasons.
• Nassir Little scored 10 points and was one of five Tar Heels to score in double figures. It was his seventh double-figure scoring game of the season.Â
• Brandon Robinson tied his career high with two three-point field goals.
