• The Tar Heels are 7-2, 4-0 at the Smith Center.
• Coby White did not play due to a sore left ankle.
• Brandon Robinson did not play due to a sore shoulder.
• Due to White not playing, Carolina made its first change to the starting lineup this season. Prior to this evening, White had started the first eight games at the point. Junior Seventh Woods got the start this evening with Kenny Williams, Cameron Johnson, Luke Maye and Garrison Brooks.
• Carolina is 620-273 all-time against in-state opponents, including 167-18 against non-conference teams.

• Cameron Johnson led UNC in scoring for the fourth time in nine games this season with 21 points. It was his 11th career 20-point game (sixth at UNC and third this season).
• Sterling Manley grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds. It was the third time in his career he had double-figure rebounds.
• Kenny Williams had a game-high eight assists. It's the second time this year he had eight or more assists (his previous high in his first three seasons was six).
• Seventh Woods tied his season high with seven points, all in the second half.
• Brandon Huffman scored a season-high seven points.
