Saturday's Scrimmage Ends In A 7-7 Tie

Chapel Hill, NC -- The Blue and Navy squads battled to a 7-7 tie on Saturday afternoon at a sunny Boshamer Stadium. The squads combined for 20 base hits and there were two errors.
Four players had multiple base hits. Brandon Riley led all batters by going 3-4 with two RBI and one run scored. Zach Gahagan was 2-3 with two RBI, while Josh Ladowski went 2-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. Dylan Enwiller was 2-4 with one run scored. Enwiller, Cody Roberts, Joey Lancellotti, Ladowski, Gahagan and Brendan Illies each doubled.
Luca Dalatri and Tyler Baum got the starts, while Kyle Blendinger, Ben Casparius, Bo Weiss and Hansen Butler threw in relief.
Weather permitting, Carolina's next scrimmage will be on Sunday.
