#1 Tar Heels Earn Comeback Win At Miami

CORAL GABLES, Florida - No. 1 North Carolina remained unbeaten in Atlantic Coast Conference women's tennis matches this season with a 4-3 victory over No. 31 Miami on Friday afternoon from the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
North Carolina (15-1, 4-0 ACC) lost the doubles point for the first time all season, but immediately rallied by winning the first four singles matches to secure the road win in south Florida.
No. 40 Jessie Aney, No. 112 Chloe Ouellet-Pizer, No. 78 Alexa Graham and No. 12 Makenna Jones did not surrender a set in winning their respective matches.
After the win was clinched by the Tar Heels, Miami (8-4, 4-1) picked up wins on courts No. 1 and 2 to close out the festivities.
UNC visits No. 22 Florida State on Sunday at 12 p.m.
