Carolina Hosts Wake Forest In ACC Series

UNC VS WAKE FOREST SERIES HISTORY
• North Carolina and Wake Forest have met 289 times during the history of this long series, with the Heels leading the series 160-126-3.
• Wake Forest is North Carolina's oldest ACC rival, dating back to 1891. Wake Forest won the inaugural game 10-7.
• The Heels and Demon Deacons last met in 2016 in Winston Salem. Wake Forest swept the series.
DOMINANCE IN CHARLOTTE
• North Carolina beat Charlotte 14-2 on Tuesday at BB&T Ballpark in uptown Charlotte to continue its dominance in that ballpark.
• Over their last three trips in as many years, the Heels have outscored opponents 49-7 and logged 39 hits.
• The three meetings have been against Charlotte and South Carolina in both 2017 and 2016. The Heels will face off against South Carolina again in Charlotte next Tuesday, April 3.
