North Carolina opens play in the 2018 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship Friday at 5 p.m. at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C. The second-seeded Tar Heels will take on the winner of Thursday's match between No. 7 NC State and No. 10 Miami.
Sixth-ranked UNC is 20-4 overall and finished ACC play 11-1, a program-best for conference wins. The Tar Heels are currently ranked No. 6 and have won their last seven matches.
The ACC semifinals are set for 2 p.m. on Saturday, and the title match is at 2 p.m. on Sunday, all at Cary Tennis Park. The semis and championship will air live on ACC Network Extra.
