UNCW SERIES HISTORY
• This will mark the 74th meeting between North Carolina and UNCW in a series that dates back to 1976.Â
• In the series, the Tar Heels hold a 58-15 advantage overall.
• The two teams met earlier this year on February 20 at Boshamer Stadium with the Seahawks being able to pull off a 5-4 win in Chapel Hill.
RILEY CONTINUES TO ROLL
• Brandon Riley went 6-11 in the weekend series against Duke, walking three times and driving in three runs.Â
• Through six games in the month of May, Riley is 13-21 (.619) with a .692 on-base percentage. Over that stretch, he leads the heels in batting average, on-base percentage and slugging (.667).
• With runners in scoring position in the month of May, he's hitting 4-8 (.500), including two hits in two opportunities with the bases loaded.
• Riley has an eight-game hitting streak, tied for the highest of his career. During that time, he's hitting .586. He leads the team in hits (17), total bases (18), slugging percentage (.621), on-base percentage (.667), is tied for first with runs scored (6) and is second in RBI (7).
• The junior has a 17-game reached-base streak, one shy of his career high of 18.
