Four Tar Heels Earn All-America Honors From ILWomen

CHAPEL HILL—Four University of North Carolina women's lacrosse players have earned All-America honors from Inside Lacrosse, the magazine announced on Friday.Â

Senior midfielder Marie McCool made the first team and sophomore attacker Katie Hoeg made the second team, while senior attacker Ela Hazar and freshman attacker Jamie Ortega made the third team.Â

Sophomore defender Erin Kelly and redshirt freshman goalie Taylor Moreno were on the honorable mention list.

ILWomen.com surveyed more than 20 women's lacrosse media members and named three teams, as well as a list of honorable mention winners.
