Fox Named ABCA Atlantic Region Coach Of The Year

North Carolina head coach Mike Fox has been tabbed as the American Baseball Coaches Association's Atlantic Region Coach of the Year. This is Fox's his fourth time earning the award after winning three consecutive years from 2006-2008.
North Carolina finished with a 44-20Â record and went 28-6Â in the Atlantic Coast Conference while winning the ACC's Coastal Division and earning the No. 1 seed in the ACC Tournament. UNC swept its regional and super regional opponents to advance to the programs 11th College World Series, the seventh under Fox in the last 13 seasons.Â
Fox also was honored as the 2018 Atlantic Coast Conference Coach of the Year for the first time in his career.Â
