Tar Heels Score Four In Second Half, Blank Coastal Carolina 4-0

Conway, S.C. -- No. 3 North Carolina scored all four of its goals in the second half en route to a 4-0 win over No. 18 Coastal Carolina on Sunday night at CCU Soccer Stadium in the first exhibition match of the 2018 season. The Tar Heels saw the debut of several new faces in their first exhibition of the season as multiple lineup combinations helped shut out the Chanticleers.
The Tar Heels will be back in action on Friday, Aug. 17, in its second exhibition match as they host Stetson at 7 p.m. ET in Cary at WakeMed Park. The final exhibition game for the Heels will take place on Sunday, Aug. 19 in Greensboro at Bryan Park against Presbyterian at 7 p.m. ET.
