No. 3 North Carolina Tops Presbyterian 2-1 In Final Exhibition Match

Greensboro, N.C. – No. 3 North Carolina finished its third and final exhibition game on Sunday night with a 2-1 win over Presbyterian at Bryan Park.
Presbyterian struck first in the 28th minute but that lead was quickly erased as the Tar Heels answered in the 30th to tie the game 1-1. The Heels finally pushed through and took the lead in the 78th minute as they shut out Presbyterian in the second half and went on to win 2-1.
The Tar Heels will kick off the regular season on Friday, Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m. against ETSU at Bryan Park in Greensboro, N.C. Admission to the game will be $5.
To finish the first weekend of the regular season, No. 3 UNC will take on No. 2 Indiana in a rematch of last year's NCAA Semifinal match. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary and will be free to all fans.
