No. 3 North Carolina Tops Presbyterian 2-1 In Final Exhibition Match

Greensboro, N.C. – No. 3 North Carolina finished its third and final exhibition game on Sunday night with a 2-1 win over Presbyterian at Bryan Park.

Presbyterian struck first in the 28^th minute but that lead was quickly erased as the Tar Heels answered in the 30^th to tie the game 1-1. The Heels finally pushed through and took the lead in the 78^th minute as they shut out Presbyterian in the second half and went on to win 2-1.

The Tar Heels will kick off the regular season on Friday, Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m. against ETSU at Bryan Park in Greensboro, N.C. Admission to the game will be $5.

To finish the first weekend of the regular season, No. 3 UNC will take on No. 2 Indiana in a rematch of last year's NCAA Semifinal match. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary and will be free to all fans.
