Heels Begin Fourth Week Of Scrimmages

Chapel Hill, NC - In a seven-inning scrimmage that saw four lead changes, the Navy squad took an 8-6 win over Blue on Thursday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium on the hottest October day in history in Chapel Hill, Â
Caleb Roberts, Clemente Inclan and Kyle Smith led the Navy attack. Roberts was 2-2 with four RBI, Inclan was 1-4 with two RBI, while Smith was 2-3 with two runs scored. Inclan had a two-run homer while Roberts, Smith and Danny Serretti each had a double.
Patrick Alvarez was 2-3 with one RBI and three runs scored for Blue, while Eric Grintz was 1-3 with two RBI and one run scored.
Bennett Nance, Kyle Mott, Stephen Pelli, Nik Pry, Chris Joyner and Evan Reifert all saw action on the mound.
The Heels will hold their next scrimmage on Friday.
