• Fourth time in as many games UNC has scored less than 80 points, the first time that has happened to begin a season in the Roy Williams Era
• Fourth time in as many games UNC has held the opposition to 65 or fewer points, the first time that has happened to begin a season since 2012-13
• Carolina out-rebounded Elon, 56-25, the largest margin (+31) since out-rebounding Boston College by 35 on 1/9/18.
• This is the fourth consecutive game a freshman has led UNC in scoring (Cole Anthony the first three and Bacot tonight).

• Freshman Armando Bacot had a game-high 22 points, 14 rebounds, three blocks and two steals.Â
• Bacot has double-doubles in the last two games.
• The 14 rebounds are the most by a Tar Heel freshman since Harrison Barnes grabbed 16 vs. LIU on 3/18/11 in the NCAA Tournament first round.
• Freshman Armando Bacot had a game-high 22 points, 14 rebounds, three blocks and two steals.
• Bacot is the fourth Tar Heel freshman to have at least 22 points and 14 rebounds in a game (James Worthy had 24/16 vs. Detroit in 1979-80; Antawn Jamison had 23/14 vs. Duke and 25/14 vs. VMI in 1995-96; Harrison Barnes had 24/16 vs. Long Island in 2011 NCAA first round). None of them also had three blocks.
• This is the second time this season a Tar Heel freshman has posted double-doubles in consecutive games (Anthony in the first two games).
• Anthony had a season-high eight assists and grabbed 10 rebounds, the third time in four games he had at least 10 rebounds.
