Five Tar Heels Earn Honors From Top Drawer Soccer

Fox tapped for TDS Best XI
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Five players from the University of North Carolina's Atlantic Coast Conference regular season and tournament champion and NCAA finalist women's soccer team were named Monday to the Best XI teams for the 2019 season as named by Top Drawer Soccer.
Junior defender Emily Fox of Ashland, Va., was named to the Top Drawer Soccer first-team Best XI. Junior forward Alessia Russo of Kent, England was named to the second team squad and sophomore midfielder Brianna Pinto was tapped for the third team.
Two Tar Heel players were named to the 2019 Top Drawer Soccer freshman Best XI. Defender Maycee Bell of Wichita, Kan., was named to the first team while defender Julia Dorsey was tapped for the second team.
