Heels Begin Third Week Of Scrimmages

Chapel Hill, NC - The Navy squad took a 7-3 win over Blue in a partially-scripted scrimmage played on a beautiful, 78-degree Tuesday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. Navy outhit Blue by an 11-6 margin, and both teams committed one error.
Ben Casparius had the only home run of the scrimmage. Michael Busch, Clemente Inclan, Dylan Enwiller, Will Schroeder, Danny Serretti and Jake Holtzapple each had a double. Aaron Sabato was 2-4 with three RBI, Ike Freeman was 2-2 with one run and one RBI, while Jake Holtzapple was 2-3 at the plate.
Josh Dotson, Nik Pry, Hansen Butler, Austin Elliot and Kyle Blendinger all saw action on the mound.
Carolina will next scrimmage on Friday afternoon.
