Baum And Casparius Lead Blue To Win On Saturday

Chapel Hill, NC - Tyler Baum threw 6.1 strong innings and Ben Casparius drove in four runs to lead the Blue squad to a 7-3 win over Navy on Saturday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. Baum gave up no earned runs on four hits to get the win, while Casparius ripped a long two-run homer in the fifth.
Danny Serrett was 2-3 with two runs scored for Blue while Caleb Roberts, who was 2-4 with one RBI, was the only Navy player with multiple base hits.
Besides Baum, Joey Lancellotti, Connor Ollio, Nik Pry, Hansen Butler, Josh Dotson and Kyle Blendinger all pitched.
The Tar Heels will next scrimmage on Sunday afternoon.
