Carolina Notes
• 27-6 overall, 2-3 at neutral sites (13-4 away from the Smith Center)
• This was Carolina's second lost in its last 17 games.
• 101-47 in ACC Tournament play, including 9-14 against Duke, 22-8 in Charlotte and 35-16 in the semifinals.
• Carolina is 175-20 in Charlotte, including 14-2 in the Spectrum Center.
• This was just the second time in 22 games the Tar Heels lost when allowing less than 80 points this season.
• Carolina made 25 of 46 shots from two-point range (54.3 percent) and 4 of 27 from three (14.8 percent).
• Carolina made four threes, its third fewest in a game this season (made two in the win at Duke and three in the home loss to Louisville).
• The Blue Devils scored 50 points in the paint, which equaled the most by an opponent this season (NC State scored 50 of its 96 points in Chapel Hill in the paint in a UNC win).
