Tar Heels Draw Clemson, 2-2

North Carolina remains undefeated in its U.S. Spring College Development Program history after drawing with Clemson 2-2 on Saturday evening in Clemson, S.C. The Heels ended up taking the penalty shootout by the score of 4-2 after the end of regulation. Goals from Mauricio Pineda and Alex Rose helped the Tar Heels finish regulation tied with the Tigers, 2-2, before the game went to penalties.
Alec Smir saved two penalties against Clemson while Pineda, Raul Aguilera, Jeremy Kelly and Jack Skahan all converted for the Heels to seal the win.
The Heels will be back in action on April 6 as they take on Wake Forest at 3 p.m. at Finley Fields in Chapel Hill.
