Moreno Wins Weekly ACC Honor

CHAPEL HILL—North Carolina's Taylor Moreno is the Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week for April 16, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Moreno was stellar in goal throughout North Carolina's 11-5 victory win over third-ranked Syracuse, making 12 saves and gathering two ground balls. She held Syracuse to a season-low five goals, the Orange's first single-digit scoring effort of the season.Â
The Tar Heels will return to action on Friday night in their regular season finale at Duke.
