UNC To Host NCAA Play For Sixth Year In A Row

North Carolina received an at-large bid to the 2019 NCAA Men's Tennis Tournament and will host first and second round matches Friday and Saturday at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
The Tar Heels (18-6) are the No. 9 seed in the 64-team field and are hosting first and second-round matches for the sixth year in a row and the seventh time in the past eight years.
Action begins Friday at 1 p.m. with Georgia facing off against Elon. At 4 p.m., UNC takes on Navy. The winners meet on Saturday at 4 p.m.
UNC is making its 24th NCAA Tournament appearance in Sam Paul's 26 years as head coach.
The Tar Heel women's team also is hosting, as the No. 2 seed in the bracket and the Atlantic Coast Conference's automatic bid. Women's matches are set for Saturday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.
Tickets are $5 per day for a single session admission, $3 for college students and kids 6-17. An all-session pass is $9 for all age groups.l
