UNC Swimming And Diving Teams Honored On CSCAA Academic List

CHAPEL HILL --- The University of North Carolina men's and women's swimming and diving programs again earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honors for the 2019 spring semester. Â Both Tar Heel squads were named to the 2018 fall semester Scholar All-America Team list as well, giving UNC four-for-four status during the 2018-19 school year.
A record 480 institutions were named to the list across NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA divisions in the spring semester. The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher for each semester of the school year.
On the NCAA Division I level, the Tar Heel men made the list with a GPA of 3.14 in the spring semester while the North Carolina women earned honors with a 3.22 grade point average.
The CSCAA will announce its individual Scholar All-Americas next week.
