Support The Fast Break Against Cancer Breakfast On Sept. 27

CHAPEL HILL—Over the past 14 years, Fast Break Against Cancer with Roy Williams has raised more than $2.7 million to support UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
This year's breakfast will take place on Friday, Sept. 27, 7:30 – 10 a.m., on Roy Williams Court at the Dean Smith Center, and features both a silent and a live auction with unique UNC sporting experiences and memorabilia. For those who can't attend, there is also an on-line auction which begins immediately following the breakfast, and will close at 5 p.m. on October 9.
This year's guest speakers are Chad and Jennifer Holbrook. Chad, a Tar Heel lettermen, is the head baseball coach at College of Charleston. When Holbrook was an assistant baseball coach at UNC, his son Reece was successfully treated at UNC Lineberger for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Reece is now a rising junior in high school. Jennifer worked in the Carolina Men's Basketball Office as an assistant to Coach Williams.
