Navy Takes A 3-2 Win In Friday's Scrimmage

Chapel Hill, NC -Â The Navy squad took a 3-2 win over Blue in a five-inning scrimmage on Friday at Boshamer Stadium that was partly situational and partly regular..
Navy took a 2-0 lead in the first on a pair of home runs by Tyler Kehoe and Joey Lancellotti. Blue tied the score in the third on a Will Stewart run-scoring single and a run that scored on a fielder's choice. Kehoe scored Navy's final run on an error in the last inning. Kehoe was the only player with multiple base hits, going 3-3 with one RBI and two runs scored.
Max Alba, Michael Oh, Nick James and Isaiah Bennett all saw action on the mound. Alba threw two perfect innings, retiring all six hitters while striking out three.
The Tar Heels will hold their next closed scrimmage on Saturday.
