Heels Wrap Up First Week Of Scrimmages

Chapel Hill, NC -Â The Blue squad took a 4-3 win over Navy in a five-inning scrimmage at the Bosh on Saturday to wrap up the team's first week of Fall scrimmages.
Mikey Madej, Kyle Smith and Eric Grintz were the only players with multiple base hits. Madej was 2-3 with two runs scored, Smith was 2-3 with one RBI, while Grintz was 2-2 with one run scored. Madej had a triple, while Smith, Grintz and Dylan Harris each had a double. Blue out hit Navy 8-3. There were no errors in the scrimmage.
Connor Ollio, Davis Palermo, Nik Pry and Evan Reifert all saw action on the mound.
Carolina's next scrimmage will be on Thursday.
