Blue Tops Navy In Thursday's Scrimmage

Chapel Hill, NC - The Blue squad rallied with four runs in the fourth inning and three in the fifth to take a 7-2 win over Nay in a seven-inning scrimmage on a beautiful Thursday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
Will Schroeder was the only player with multiple base hits, going 2-4 with one RBI and one run scored for Blue. Blue was also aided by Angel Zarate's two RBI and Jake Holtzapple's two RBI. Will Stewart and Clemente Inclan each drove in a run for Navy. Blue outhit Navy by an 8-3 margin.
Five pitchers saw action on the mound: Austin Elliott, Joseph Charles, Sean Rapp, Kyle Blendinger and Bennett Nance.
The Heels will holt their next scrimmage on Friday.
