2019 All-ACC Academic Team

Tar Heel junior Raul Aguilera has been named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Team for men's soccer, announced on Tuesday by the league. The honor recognizes outstanding athletic and academic performance during the 2019 season.

Aguilera is an exercise and sport science major from Sanford, Fla. A midfielder, he played in all 18 games and started 17 for the Tar Heels in 2019. He scored one goal and had two assists.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
