Scotty Repeats As ACC Freshman Of The Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the second consecutive week, North Carolina's Elizabeth Scotty has been selected the ACC Women's Tennis Freshman of the Week.
Scotty and doubles partner Cameron Morra remained unbeaten this season with four victories in successive days to help lead the Tar Heels to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship.
The Annapolis, Maryland, product also posted two singles wins in the event. Scotty defeated Lauryn John-Baptiste of Arizona State in the first round, and came up with a significant 6-4, 6-1, victory over UCLA in Monday's title match.
Scotty is 6-0 in singles play thus far in 2020, while her and Morra are an impressive 9-0 in doubles competition.
Carolina is home this weekend for a Saturday doubleheader against East Carolina at 11 a.m. and Charlotte at 4 p.m.
