
Women's/Diving ACC Championships: Day 3

With only one day left in the ACC Championships, the Tar Heels brought strong competition to Friday night's finals. Emma Cole placed seventh in the 200 freestyle, and Caroline Hauder and Lilly Higgs came in fifth and eighth in the 100 breaststroke. Another duo, Grace Countie and Sophie Lindner, secured fourth and seventh in the 100 backstroke, and the 400 medley relay closed out the night in fourth place

The meet will conclude tomorrow with the women's 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 200 butterfly, 1650 freestyle and platform diving. Lindner, Cole and Bryanna Cameron are all seeded second for their events, the 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, and 200 butterfly. Hauder and Heidi Lowe also have high seeds for the 100 freestyle, as do Higgs in the 200 breaststroke and Ellie VanNote in the 200 butterfly.
