Carolina Notes
• Falls to 10-13 overall, 3-9 in the ACC
• It is the first time UNC is 3-9 in ACC play since 2010.
• UNC is 0-3 in overtime games this season (all in the last eight games).
• It is the first time UNC has played three OT games in a season since going 3-0 in 2007-08.
• It's the first time UNC has lost three OT games in a season since 2003-04.
• UNC is 5-7 at home this season (5-6 at the Smith Center). It's the most home losses since going 6-9 at the Smith Center in 2001-02.
• Carolina shot 52.2 percent from the floor, only the second time this season it shot 50 percent for a game (Miami). It's only the eighth time in 220 games under Roy Williams the Tar Heels lost a game when they shot at least 50 percent from the floor.
• UNC shot a season-high 59.4 percent in the first half. That was the third-highest FG percentage by UNC in any half this season.
• It was the highest percentage Duke has allowed in a half this season.
• UNC scored 16 fastbreak points, most by UNC in any ACC game this season.
• UNC's 96 points are a season high, the 36 field goals were second most this year (40 vs. Miami) and the 23 assists were the second most (32 vs. Miami).
• The 96 points are the most by UNC in a loss since a 103-100 loss to Kentucky in Las Vegas on 12/17/2016.
• Carolina's last four losses have been decided by a total of 11 points (two at Virginia Tech, one vs. BC, six at FSU and two vs. Duke).
• Duke scored 25 points off 18 UNC turnovers. The 25 points are the most allowed by UNC this season (23 by Pitt at Pitt).
• Carolina went 21 for 38 from the free throw line. The Tar Heels made just 5 of 12 in the final 6:49 of regulation and 7 of 16 over the final 11:49 including overtime.
• The 38 FT attempts were a season high for UNC.
• The 17 missed free throws were a season high for UNC (16 for 30 at UNCW).
• In the game, UNC missed both ends of a two-shot foul four times and the first shot of a 1 and 1 once.

Tar Heel Player Notes
• Cole Anthony led UNC with 24 points and 11 rebounds, He's the first Tar Heel freshman to have a double-double against Duke since Kendall Marshall had 15 points and 11 assists vs. the Blue Devils in 2011.
• It was Anthony's third double-double of the season and his first since the second game of the season.
• Leaky Black had a career-high nine assists.
• Andrew Platek tied his season high with nine points (also vs. Gardner-Webb). He had nine points, seven rebounds and five assists.
• Christian Keeling had 13 points. It was his third game in double figures as a Tar Heel and the first time he has done that in consecutive games (season-high 14 at Florida State on 2/3).
• Keeling and Justin Pierce combined for 24 points. The previous high for them as a tandem was 22 at UNCW (18 by Pierce and four by Keeling in that game).
• Walker Miller's overtime free throws (made 1 of 2) were his first FT attempts since going 2 for 2 at Gonzaga on 12/18/19.
