Voting Information
August 28, 2020 | General
 Election Day is November 3rd!
 • All NC polling places will be open from 6:30am to 7:30pm tomorrow. If you are in line at 7:30pm, you will be allowed to vote.
 • On Election Day, you have to vote at your assigned polling place. You can find your polling place (or help someone find their own) using the Voter Search Tool or by using an address for the Polling Place Search. The assigned location for all on-campus UNC students is the Stone Center. Students living off-campus should find their location using the listed search tools.
 • Anyone with an absentee ballot who has not yet returned it can now only return it their county board of elections by 5 pm Tuesday or send it by mail or commercial courier service (must be postmarked by November 3rd).  Please view links to see the addresses for Boards of Elections in Orange, Durham and Chatham counties.
 • If you've already sent your absentee ballot, you can check its status here. You can also view your voting record using the Voter Search Tool.
Recognize that people will be feeling high levels of anxiety and other emotions this week. Please demonstrate an extra dose of kindness and grace to everyone – including yourself!
