Volleyball Continues Partnership With Spike Out Cancer To Support Lineberger Center

CHAPEL HILL - The Carolina volleyball team is excited to continue its partnership with UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center's Adolescent and Young Adult Program (AYA) this season with the Spike Out Cancer Initiative.Â
The Tar Heels will dedicate their games against Duke, Oct. 22 and Nov. 26, to support the initiative. Every spike made by Carolina during these two games will raise funds for UNC's AYA Program. In the spirit of competition, the Heels will compete against Duke to see who can raise the most for our respective AYA cancer programs.

UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and the N.C. Cancer Hospital are proud to offer individualized cancer support for adolescent and young adult patients facing a cancer diagnosis. Teenagers and young adults have different needs than other cancer patients. Your cancer treatment affects your education, relationships, career, independence, fertility and more.
