UNC Baseball Announces 2022 Schedule

CHAPEL HILL – Thirty-six home games with five series against Atlantic Coast Conference foes, a home-neutral-away series with East Carolina and a game against South Carolina at Truist Field in Charlotte highlight the 2022 North Carolina baseball schedule, announced Tuesday.
UNC will play 26 games versus 11 NCAA regional teams from a year ago, including CWS participants NC State and Virginia, as part of its 2022 56-game schedule, which sees the ACC return to a 30-game slate.
The Tar Heels will play 21 of their 26 non-conference games at Boshamer Stadium, hosting NCAA regional participants Campbell, Charlotte, East Carolina and Liberty in addition to 12 other non-conference opponents.
Carolina will open the season with a five-game homestand starting with a three-game series against Seton Hall, beginning Friday, Feb. 18. UNC will then host Elon on Tuesday, Feb. 22 before taking on East Carolina for a weekend series in three different cities during the final weekend of February.
The series will open Friday, Feb. 25, in Chapel Hill, and continue with a Saturday matinee at First National Bank Field in Greensboro before concluding Sunday afternoon in Greenville.
UNC will also play home-and-home series with Liberty and UNCW, while welcoming Appalachian State, Charleston Southern, Elon, Gardner-Webb, Georgetown, Longwood, NC A&T, Richmond, VMI and Winthrop for single games.
The Tar Heels will take on South Carolina in Charlotte on April 5.
Carolina will open ACC play on Friday, March 11 with a three-game home series versus Pittsburgh followed by back-to-back road weekends at Duke (March 18-20) and Miami (March 25-27).
UNC's additional conference home weekends consist of series against Virginia Tech (April 1-3), Georgia Tech (April 15-17), Wake Forest (May 13-15) and Florida State (May 19-21).
The Tar Heels' conference road schedule also includes weekends at Louisville (April 8-10), Virginia (April 22-24) and NC State (May 6-8).
The ACC Baseball Championship will be held May 24-29 at Truist Field in Charlotte.
Season ticket and mini-season ticket packages (15 games) will go on-sale to the public on December 13 while single-game, three-game and six-game packages will go on sale on January 17. Details on ticket packages will be announced at a later date.
Current season ticket holders can renew their season tickets until December 3 by logging into your season ticket account HERE.
