Men's Basketball Will Face Kentucky, Not UCLA, Saturday In Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS—On Friday, organizers for the CBS Sports Classic announced a revised schedule for this year's event, which will be held Saturday at T-Mobile Arena.Â

North Carolina will face Kentucky at 5:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be broadcast on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.
Due to COVID-19 protocols, Ohio State and UCLA will not participate in the CBS Sports Classic. The Tar Heels originally had been scheduled to play UCLA.

The Tar Heels and Wildcats have squared off three times previously in the CBS Sports Classic, with Kentucky owning a 2-1 edge in those matchups. North Carolina won last year's tilt, 75-63, in Cleveland.
Tickets are on sale and can be secured through www.t-mobilearena.com or www.cbssportsclassic.com/tickets. Previously purchased tickets for the doubleheader will still be honored.
