Tar Heel Women No. 2 In USA Lacrosse Preseason Poll

CHAPEL HILL—The University of North Carolina women's lacrosse team is ranked No. 2 in the nation in the NIke/USA Lacrosse preseason rankings for 2021, the magazine has announced.Â
The five-time defending Atlantic Coast Conference champion Tar Heels trailed only defending NCAA champion Boston College in the rankings. The rest of the top five included No. 3 Syracuse, No. 4 Northwestern and No. 5 Stony Brook.
