Fall Baseball Schedule Set

Chapel Hill -- North Carolina will face off against Walters State and national runner-up Vanderbilt this fall in preparation for the 2022 season.
The Tar Heels will host Walters State on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 1:30 p.m. at Boshamer Stadium before hosting Vanderbilt on Friday, Oct. 15 at 3:30 p.m.
"We are excited to take the field this fall at the Bosh as we prepare for the 2022 season", said head coach Scott Forbes. "Walters State is one of the top Jr. College programs and recently played in the Junior College World Series. Vanderbilt is coming off an appearance in the College World Series National Championship game. Being able to play two teams of this caliber will only make us a better team this spring, and we are excited to host these two great programs here at the Bosh."
The Tar Heels will also hold its Fall World Series with a game one set for Friday, Oct. 8, at 3:30 p.m., game two Sunday, Oct. 10 at 2 p.m. and Game three of the series Saturday, Oct. 16. Times TBD. The game three time is TBD based on football game vs Miami kickoff.
The program will hold its annual Old Leaguer's reunion as well as its UNC's parents' weekend. For more information about the Old Leaguer's weekend, contact Dave Arendas at arendas@unc.edu.
