Carolina And Duke Scrimmage On Friday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The North Carolina Tar Heels concluded their Fall season with a scrimmage against the Duke Blue Devils on Friday night at Boshamer Stadium.
Alberto Osuna, Joe Jaconski, Bryce Blaser and Reece Holbrook had one RBI apiece. Max Riemer's 2-for-2 effort at the plate made him the only Tar Heel with multiple base hits. Carolina's offense had 10 base hits for the scrimmage.
Eleven Carolina pitchers saw action on the mound: Max Carlson, Dalton Pence, Kevin Eaise, Nelson Berkwich, Connor Bovair, Jake Knapp, Will Sandy, Cameron Padgett, Kyle Percival, Matthew Matthijs and Nik Pry.
Pence threw two scoreless, hitless innings while Carlson added two scoreless innings. Padgett threw 1.2 scoreless innings while Matthijs and Pry each struck out two Blue Devils in one inning of work apiece.
