Chapel Hill, N.C. - The North Carolina wrestling program fell to the No. 4-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes in dual action, 33-9.Â
The match for the Heels was the first dual of the 2022-23 campaign inside Carmichael Arena.Â
North Carolina boasted wins in two matches, with victories at 141 and 157. At 141, Lachlan McNeil would pick up the 9-7 decision and at 157, Sincere Bailey would win via forfeit.Â
Carolina wrestling returns to action Dec. 15, welcoming Appalachian State to Carmichael Arena for a 7 PM showdown.Â
