November 9, 2022 | Men's Basketball
Zayden High, a 6-10 forward from San Antonio, Texas, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University of North Carolina, head men's basketball coach Hubert Davis announced today.
Â
"Zayden is the perfect example of the modern-day big man with his all-around skills, abilities to make plays at multiple positions and shoot the ball as well as any player with his size in this class," says Davis. "He's a great kid that comes from a wonderful family. He's exactly what we wanted and needed in this class. In addition to his great basketball IQ, he can defend all five positions, runs the floor well and is an excellent finisher and rebounder. We are very excited Zayden and his family are Tar Heels."
Â
High, the son of Mike and Tawney High, attends AZ Compass Prep in Chandler, Ariz., where he plays for Coach Ed Gipson.
