• UNC is 5-3 on the road this season, 4-3 in ACC games.
• Brady Manek scored the game-winning field goal off an assist from Caleb Love with 3.1 seconds to play. It was Carolina's first game-winner with under five seconds remaining since Andrew Platek scored with 3.6 seconds to win 67-65 at Miami on 1/5/21.
• Carolina trailed by 11. The win ties the largest comeback win this season (also at Charleston on 11/16/21)
• Carolina shot 50% from the field for the game, the third time an opponent has shot 50% against Clemson this season (also Virginia and Syracuse).
• Carolina is 8-0 this season when shooting 50% from the floor.
• The Tar Heels shot 60.7% from the floor in the second half (17 for 28), the highest percentage shot by any team vs. the Tigers in the second half this season (Miami shot 60.0%).
• That was the fourth time UNC shot 60% in a half this season.
• Armando Bacot had his 18th double-double of the season with 24 points and 10 rebounds (36th career).
• It was Bacot's eighth 20-point game of the season and 13th of his career.
