CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. - Carolina Rowing returned to competition for the spring season on Mar. 26 at the UVA Invitational as the Tar Heels raced against Tennessee and UCF.

UNC topped UCF in the First Varsity Four (9:05.9) race in the morning session. In addition, the Tar Heels finished second in the First Varsity Eight (7:30.3), Second Varsity Eight (8:05.2), Third Varsity Eight (9:06.1), and Second Varsity Four (9:25.2) in races against the Knights.

In the afternoon session, the Second Varsity Four (9:35.5) finished first over Tennessee. UNC finished second in the First Varsity Eight (7:35.3), Second Varsity Eight (7:50.1), Third Varsity Eight (9:10.11), and First Varsity Four (8:55.4) in races against the Volunteers.

The Tar Heels return to action on Saturday, Apr. 2, when they face host Bucknell, Boston College, and George Washington at the Bucknell River Complex in Shamokin Dam, Pa.
