CHAPEL HILL – The North Carolina wrestling team will head to Charlottesville on Sunday for the 2022 ACC Wrestling Championship at John Paul Jones Arena. The Tar Heels will look to qualify for the NCAA Championships at each weight, with 39 automatic qualifier spots up for grabs for the ACC this season. The action will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday for the one-day tournament. Coverage for the early rounds will be on ACC Network Extra, with the finals being aired on the ACC Network.

Wrestlers in the ACC will be competing to earn bids to the 2022 NCAA Championships, which will take place March 17-19 in Detroit, Mich.

Tickets are now on sale for Sunday's all-day championship, and all seats are general admission. All attendees 12 years of age and older are required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result for entry. All attendees must wear a mask while inside John Paul Jones Arena except when actively eating or drinking.
