Baseball Game Vs. Wake Forest Moved To Friday At Noon

CHAPEL HILL – The first game of this weekend's ACC baseball series between North Carolina and Wake Forest will be played at 12 noon Friday at Boshamer Stadium due to forecasted severe weather in the Triangle area.
The game was originally scheduled to start at 6 p.m. ET.
The Diamond Heels enter the game with an overall record of 29-18 and a 10-14 in the ACC, while Demon Deacons are 30-14-1 overall and 11-12-1 in the conference. This will be the first meeting between the two longtime rivals since 2018.
The game will be streamed on ACC Network Extra and can be heard locally on WCHL-FM.
Game two of the series will start at 2 p.m. Saturday, and game three will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, as initially scheduled.
