Chapel Hill, NC -- The North Carolina Tar Heels and the Walters St. Senators scrimmaged on a beautiful Friday evening in Chapel Hill.

Offensive highlights: Vance Honeycutt, Alberto Osuna, Eric Grintz and Austin Hawke were the only players with multiple base hits. Honeycutt was 2-3 with four RBI, including a 399-foot home run to right center. Alberto Osuna was 2-3 at the plate. Eric Grintz was 2-3 with two RBI, including a 416-foot home run. Austin Hawke was 2-4 with one RBI.

Pitching highlights: A mix of Tar Heel pitchers held the Senators scoreless for the scrimmage. Dalton Pence, Will Sandy, Connor Bovair and Matthew Matthijs who struck out the side, each recorded three strikeouts in one inning pitched. Kevin Eaise, Nick Pry and Justin Szestowicki each struck out two batters while throwing a hitless inning.
