CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The final home match of the regular season for the third-ranked North Carolina women's soccer team will take place Sunday, Oct. 22, at 1 p.m ET against Syracuse at Dorrance Field. The game will air on ACCNX and tickets are available for purchase here.

Prior to the match, the Tar Heels will honor its graduating class – Maycee Bell, Isabel Cox, Talia Dellaperuta, Julia Dorsey, Kai Hayes, Sam Meza, Emily Moxley, Avery Patterson, Riley Quinlan and Paige Tolentino – for Senior Day presented by Carolina Alumni.

Carolina will also recognize its senior team managers in Meilin Gregg, Allison Kelker, Patrik Luneau, Kush Patel, Chris Rea, Jacob Rogers and Rachel Yurko.

Ten Things to Know

North Carolina, which checked in at No. 3 in the recent United Soccer Coaches poll for the second week in a row, has been in the top four all season.
The Tar Heels are ranked No. 2 in this week's NCAA RPI for the third week in a row. They were also slotted at No. 3 in the NCAA Committee's top-16 teams.
As of Oct. 21, UNC is one of just six teams in Division I without a loss this season.
Cox has made 103 career appearances, the most among all active DI players. She's one game away from being ranked eighth in NCAA history.
Four Tar Heels were listed in TopDrawerSoccer's Midseason Top 100 Player List: Bell (#5), Ally Sentnor (#25), Meza (#28), Patterson (#40).
Four Tar Heels were named to TopDrawerSoccer's Midseason Top 100 list: Savy King (#2), Evelyn Shores (#31), Olivia Thomas (#50) and Melina Rebimbas (#55).
Carolina's defense has held 15 of its 16 opponents to 10 shots or fewer, seven of those to five or fewer, and three to only one.
This will be the ninth meeting between North Carolina and Syracuse in program history with the Tar Heels owning a perfect 8-0 record in the all-time series.
UNC and SU played each other in 2022 in New York with Tori Dellaperuta scoring for a 1-0 Carolina victory.
Carolina is coming off a 1-1 draw with No. 12 Notre Dame. The Tar Heels kept the Fighting Irish, which had been averaging 18.2 shots per game, to only two.

The Tar Heels enter Sunday's game with a 9-0-7 record and are 4-0-4 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Orange will arrive in Chapel Hill with a 2-12-1 overall mark, including 0-7-1 in league play.

Sunday will also serve as a doubleheader with UNC men's soccer, and one ticket will gain entry to both events. Children in eighth grade and below can receive a discounted ticket when wearing their soccer jersey as part of Youth Soccer Day.
