Baseball Announces 2024 Schedule

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Fresh off its sixth consecutive NCAA regional appearance – the longest active streak in the ACC – the University of North Carolina announced its 2024 baseball schedule, complete with 34 games at Boshamer Stadium, on Thursday.
The Tar Heels will play 44 games against teams that finished inside the top 65 of the final 2023 RPI rankings, including 25 contests versus teams that reached the postseason.
Carolina will play 19 of its 24 non-conference games at Boshamer Stadium, hosting NCAA regional participants Campbell, Charlotte, East Carolina and UNCW in addition to six other non-conference opponents.
The 2024 season opens with a five-game homestand beginning with a three-game series against Wagner, starting Friday, Feb. 16. UNC will host Elon on Tuesday, Feb. 20, before taking on East Carolina in a three-game, three-city series during the final weekend of the month.
The Tar Heels will open the series against the Pirates at Boshamer Stadium on Feb. 23 and then play again the following day at Segra Stadium in Fayetteville before concluding the series in Greenville on Feb. 25.
Carolina will play 15 of its first 18 games at home.
UNC will also play a home-and-home series with Campbell and UNCW while welcoming Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Elon, Gardner-Webb, Longwood, North Carolina A&T and William & Mary for a single game in addition to its annual matchup with South Carolina at Truist Field in Charlotte.
The Tar Heels will host Princeton (March 1-3) in their final non-conference weekend series before opening ACC play at home against Pittsburgh on March 8.
Carolina's additional ACC home weekends consist of series against Georgia Tech (March 22-24), Notre Dame (April 12-14), Virginia Tech (April 26-28) and Louisville (May 10-12).
The Tar Heels' conference road schedule is comprised of trips to Miami (March 15-17), Wake Forest (March 29-31), Virginia (April 4-6), NC State (April 18-20) and Duke (May 16-18).
North Carolina will not play Boston College, Clemson or Florida State during the regular season.
The 2024 ACC Baseball Championship will be held May 21-26 at a site to be announced later.
