Tyeryar Named To USILA Team Of The Week

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina men's lacrosse face-off midfielder Andrew Tyeryar was named to the USILA Team of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.Â
The Falls Church, Va. product scored three goals, collected five groundballs and went 12-22 at the face-off X this past weekend, helping the Tar Heels to a 19-6 victory over Brown.Â
The three goals was the first multi-goal effort of Tyeryar's career. In addition, Tyeryar won the face-off battle for the fifth time the season.Â
Andrew and the Tar Heels return to action this Friday night, traveling to Duke for a 6 PM matchup.Â
