Men's Tennis On The Road Again This Weekend

The University of North Carolina men's tennis team will play a pair of Atlantic Coast Conference matches on the road this weekend, traveling south to play at Georgia Tech on Friday and at Clemson on Sunday. The Tar Heels will meet the Yellow Jackets at 4 p.m. on Friday in Atlanta and the Tigers at noon on Sunday in Clemson, S.C.
Eleventh-ranked UNC is 12-5 this season, including 4-1 in ACC play. Carolina is coming off a 6-1 win at Virginia Tech last Sunday afternoon in Blacksburg, Va., and has won five of its last six matches.
The Tar Heels are playing two road conference matches for the second consecutive weekend and the third time this month. The UNC men's and women's tennis programs eagerly await the completion of construction on the new outdoor courts at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center in Chapel Hill.Â
Carolina will play its final five regular season matches this season at home, beginning on March 31 when it hosts NC State. The final weeks of the season will include matches in Chapel Hill against the Wolfpack, Wake Forest, Duke, Florida State and Miami.
