Women's Golf Headed To Washington For NCAA Regional

The University of North Carolina women's golf team is headed to Pullman, Wash., as the No. 8 seed in the NCAA Pullman Regional, which will be played May 8-10.
This is UNC's second straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament under head coach Aimee Neff and the Tar Heels' 28th since regional play began in 1993.
Top-ranked Stanford is the No. 1 seed in the Pullman Regional, which will be contested at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club.
Baylor, Southern California, ACC champion Clemson, Kentucky, Texas Tech, Houston, UNLV, Sacramento State, Cal Poly and Green Bay comprise the other 11 teams in the field.
Pullman is one of six regional sites across the country. Each site will play host to 12 teams and six individual entries.
The top five teams and low individual finisher not on one of the five teams that advance will move on to compete in the 2023 NCAA Championship May 19-24 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Carolina is one of seven Atlantic Coast Conference teams in the 2023 NCAA Tournament field.
